The position offers significant opportunities for growth, in both compensation and accounting skill development.Your primary responsibilities will include:Leading and performing audit and review engagements for both private businesses and not-for-profit organizations. You will also be expected to review the work of junior associates. Meeting with Boards of Directors and/or Audit Committees to present audit/review results Preparation or review of compilation engagementsGovernment reporting (GST/HST, payroll, T3010)Preparation or review of personalamp; corporate income tax returns Responding to client inquires/requests with added value Supervision and training of other staff members Other responsibilities and projects as requiredA successful candidate will have:CPA designation A minimum of 3-years experience in a public accounting including audit experience Passion for an increasing knowledge base in business and taxation Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and accounting software such as QuickBooksExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong time-management, including the ability to manage conflicting prioritiesA high level of accuracy and strong attention to detailsExcellent interpersonal and English communication skills (both written and oral)Team-oriented and client-focused thinking Honesty, integrity, promptness and ethical behavior Salary Expectation: $85,000 - $100,000 (*Commensurate with experienceamp; reviewed annually based on performance) Group Benefits package, RSP plan with company-matching and inclusion in the Firm’s annual bonus plan is also available.
