The Wood Assembly Worker is expected to contribute to the manufacturing/construction process and daily shop obligations in whatever capacity is necessary. This position is a permanent, full-time role with benefits offered after completion of the probationary period.Duties and Responsibilities: · Read production orders and diagrams;· Choose lumber for construction purposes;· Participate in the assembly of trusses;· Reinforce assembled products with supports;· Operate forklifts and other machinery;· Maintaining tools and equipment;· Load and unload structure materials and move material in work areas;· Clean-up work sites and removing debris;· Perform other duties as assigned by the Shop Foreman.Qualifications: · A background in construction / general assembly required (minimum one-year experience);· Forklift experience would be considered an asset;· High school diploma required;· Willingness to learn;· Ability to work well in a team environment;· Positive attitude and strong work ethic.Working Conditions: Gable Enterprises feature a fast-paced workshop that must always remain clean and controlled. This environment has potentially dangerous equipment and there is a requirement for both situational awareness and adherence to occupational health and safety standards.
