• Reading blueprints, plans, specs and instructions
• Using hand and power tools
• Rough framing of walls, ceilings, flooring and roofs
• Finish carpentry including hanging crown moldings, installing window/door casings and baseboards, installing fixtures and hardware, cabinet installation
• Shoring erection, repair/replacement of patios, decks, doors, cabinets, appliances and necessary demolition experience is a plus
• May also include drywall installation, tape and texture work, and painting
• Checking the accuracy of completed work
• Supervising crews and subs on site
• This is a hands-on position

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 5 years carpentry experience and knowledge of renovating
• Proficiency in all trades, including; frame-to-finish carpentry, and painting.
• Must have a strong work ethic and take pride in all work
• The ability to work efficiently without wasting materials and possessing reliable transportation and tools
• Strong communication skills
• Must possess ability to read building codes, blueprints, and drawings
• Valid driver #39;s license, reliable transportation and tools of the trade required

Salary and Benefits:

• Full time
• Salary $32.00 - $38.00 Hourly, depending on experience
