Job Description

Overview:PMA Canada is the leading private Sales and Marketing execution partner of fine spirits, wines, beer and coolers in Canada. We pride ourselves on providing Service Excellence for our Brand Owners, Customers & Consumers.The Brand Ambassador inspires and creates amazing relationships with consumers, customers, brand teams and internal Sales and marketing team. You are a key member of the marketing team and your passion to plan, inspire, engage, and create brand experiences with flair on our world class Polish Vodka portfolio.Be the face of the brands to inspire and execute Brand Plans that includes training, educating, and engaging consumers, key customers and influencers to create advocates of brand.Engage and support the On Premise and Retail account teams, the Key partners, Events and influencers with plans and programs that provide consistent and timely brand communication, training and experiences to create strong advocates for our Rye and Potato Vodkas.Responsibilities:Key Deliverables:

  • Brand Team:
o Work closely with the Brand Manager to brainstorm, plan and drive successful execution of the Brand Plans nationally with major focus on Ontario.o Proactively uncover opportunities, share with brand, align and implement through collaborative process that connects back to the brand strategy and with guidelines.
  • Consumer/Customer/Media/Agency:
o Build and strengthen effective relationships with the Industry influencers, customers/partners, consumers, Media and internal teams– through social media channels and day to day activities.o Develops and builds a national bartender & influencer “Brand advocates” community that discovers and shares the enthusiasm around the brand products, cocktails and experiences in a compliant manner.o Develops and executes brand consumer sampling, seminars, industry events, masterclasses, training, after-parties and agency partner ambassadorso Develop and help with sell-in of menu features and propose new drinks for on-premise accountso Execute localized customer staff trainings leveraging global training modules (cocktail trends, hands on-training, virtual sessions, masterclasses and being able to pivot as needed during COVID regulations)o Support distribution, visibility and advocacy in top on-trade and off-trade outlets in Key marketso Develop and execute promotional activities at select sponsorship events and represent the brand at Media events
  • Internal Teams: Work collaboratively with On Premise and off premise Sales communities to educate, inspire, influence and build our Polish Vodka’s awareness and advocacy.
  • Results: Executes and reports periodically on Brand Annual KPIs that supports and helps drive the Brand Plan Results and includes:
o Provide monthly/quarterly reporting, performance tracking and proactive management of assigned A &P Budget.o Measure brand performance in conjunction with supplier KPIso Responsible for maintaining consistency of brand messaging and presentationo Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive achievement of bran plansCompany Values:

Role Skill Requirements:
  • Strong interpersonal relationships and communication
  • Presentation and public speaking skills (comfortable in front/ behind the camera) as a Brand advocacy expert
  • Planning and collaboration skills with a flair for project /event management and multi-tasking
  • Understands, enjoys and leverages social media in a professional manner to communicate and engage effectively.
  • Previous bartendig experience and high level of comfort in creating cocktails
Knowledge Competency Requirements:
  • Knowledge of basic Liquor Board Regulations, market/cocktail trends and competitive products
  • Computer Literacy: Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook), Google Docs, Analytical tools and Social Channels
Experience Required:
  • 2 to 3 Years’ experience in sales, promotion and/or experiential/event management preferably within Beverage Alcohol or CPG Spaces. Spirit Certification and/or previous experience with experiential brands an asset.
  • Bachelor Degree preferred with ability to communicate in French and English.
  • Retail or On Premise experience / in-depth understanding a plus.
  • Some knowledge of Polish Culture and marketing beneficial.
