Job Description

A successful candidate should ideally have working knowledge in accounting and 0-1 years of experience at least. Any working knowledge of Caseware, Jazzit, Profile, and Quickbooks is an asset.Responsibilities Include:

  • General administrative duties including: photocopying, faxing, scanning and mass mailings
  • Assist with filing tax related duties such as preparing tax packages, filing, scanning, etc as required
  • Assist with the preparation of audit/review letters and final client packages as required
  • Review upcoming deadlines and work requirements with the managers to manage workflow using the firms internal systems.
  • Prepare, review and modify general templates, letters, reports, Word documents, Excel workbooks and other correspondence materials
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Coordinate and schedule internal and external meetings, appointments, and office events.
  • Uphold RPN’s electronic filing system
  • Filing of documents in an electronic database
  • Managing the firms accounts receivable and accounts payable system
  • Communicating directly with clients and the CRA to provide them information as required
  • Ability to complete incorporations and minute books
  • Summarization of office expenditures and maintaining the administration of RPN’s expense policy
  • Maintain and monitor office supply inventory levels and place orders as required
  • Completion of bookkeeping for clients
  • Develop a thorough understanding of internal programs and processes
  • Provide other clerical support as requested
  • Traveling around the GTA to various clients may also be a requirement.
Core skills:
  • Proficient in computer software programs, such as Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong typing skills, 50+ wpm
  • Experience with office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and scanners
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and financial principles
Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $42,000.00-$52,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:
  • Bonus pay
Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Oakville, ON L6H 5S4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
