Job Description

For this position, candidates should have experience working with financial management software and accounting systems. At least three years of related work experience who are meticulous and have strong analytical, communication and collaboration skills.Main responsibilities BAAs a Business Analyst -Financial Systems, you will be working with the CapEx360TM R&D team as well as our clients to help understand, design, and build new and exciting software. This can also be a growth opportunity where the candidate will have the opportunity to take on some project management responsibilities over time.Your duties will also include:

• Examine the requirements of internal or external clients
• Collect data and requirements needed to configure, implement, maintain, and customize the systems.
• Prepare functional and technological requirements, inputs, and outputs for business.
• Communication and planning with the R&D team and Clients
• Creating software functional specifications for CapEx360TM R&D or for customers.
• Consult the technical team to see whether the requirements are feasible and to identify any obstacles or data gaps.
• Gather data and analyze business and user needs and drive new features for CapEx360TM
• Coordinate the development of documentation to enable implementations and new developments
• Assist with application testing to verify requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum 4 Years of Financial application experience. Experience with ERP or Capital management Software and BONUS.
• Minimum 2 years in a BA position
• Degree in either Finance, Engineering or Computer Science.
• Business process knowledge of large organizations.
• Proficient in data analysis and ability to understand and create process diagrams.
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Desktop applications (Project, Visio, Word, and Excel)
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience working in a project environment
• Project Management Experience is a plus
• Preference will be given to candidates who able to work in the EST time zone and located in Ontario.

Secondary Role - Project Management

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand the business needs and create a project management plan that aligns with the strategic objectives
• Coordinate and organize all internal resources to ensure punctual delivery of finalized projects within scope and budget
• Develop, plan, and analyze the required resources and standards of the project
• Conduct team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
• Recommend IT strategies, policies, and procedures by identifying problems, evaluating trends, and anticipating requirements
• Assign and oversee the daily tasks of team members while ensuring all subordinates are actively working towards established milestones
• Monitor all phases of the project, expenditures, and implementing change where necessary
• Provide detailed root analysis on deployment actions, successful or un-successful, as required
