Our client, a reputable construction firm in Toronto is expanding its business and looking for an experienced Project Manager with Civil construction experience.Your experience you bring will include:• Experience in estimating civil infrastructure projects preferred• Experience in civil projects such as transit projects (Bus Rapid Transit, Light Rail Transit and Railways), stations and facilities• Design-build experience preferred• Demonstrated experience implementing a strong safety culture by application of health, safety, and environment principles and legislation.• In-depth knowledge of construction industry including building materials, construction specifications, methods and procedures, construction law and building codes, and safety and quality management practices.Your responsibilities will include:• Provides overall contract administration, technical expertise, and support to a medium size construction project.• Leading the pursuit of new work by participating in estimates, working with trad contractors and participating in proposals and presentations.• Overseeing the development and implementation the project management plan and quality culture with stakeholder buy-in.• Understands client drivers and offers value engineering proposals for functionality, cost, and schedule benefit.• Monitoring project performance, status reports for safety, cost forecast, and schedule.• Identifying and managing risk and opportunities on construction projects.What you will get in return:
