Our mission is to shape a better tomorrow by connecting people with water and energy.We currently have an exciting opportunity as an Inventory Deployment Manager!This role is based in our office in Oakville, and reports to the Director, Distribution & Logistics.Do not miss the opportunity to join a broad family of people-centric professionals, thought leaders and rapid thinkers, entrepreneurs in spirit and status quo-fighters!Job SummaryWe are currently looking for a people leader who works in collaboration with other departments to ensure that IPEX effectively and efficiently responds to the inventory needs of our customers. The main responsibility of this role is to manage the replenishment of our finished goods to various distribution Centres (26 DCs and 52 Consignment locations). The Manager will ensure consistent execution of the inventory plans and alignment with the business strategy. This position also takes the lead in supply chain records creation/deletion when warehouses are opening or closing. This position manages a team of 9 Distribution Planners.Principal Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Inventory replenishment team in the creation of inventory deployment plans, ensuring alignment with business strategy, transportation efficiencies and inventory parameters
  • Collaborate with Regional Distribution Managers to ensure inventory strategies align with DC space limitations (product mix, inventory levels), both with new business integration and ongoing business.
  • Manage Distribution Matrix in Infoflo, to ensure that adjusted sales are aligning with the appropriate warehouses
  • Validate Sales requests ensuring balance between new business initiatives, inventory availability, warehouse space and production capacity
  • Work in partnership with the Supply Planning Managers to manage production location changes, ensuring new supply chains are most effective solution.
  • Create/manage/review processes to identify areas of opportunities linked to upstream constraints, and facilitate meetings with all appropriate departments to lead change.
  • Act as a key team member in Network Optimization Projects to develop proper Inventory replenishment plans for new SKUs.
  • Lead the implementation of new repack initiatives in Distribution Centres.
  • Facilitate new customer onboarding with the VMI program (Vendor Managed Inventory), uniting Sales, Datalliance (third party provider) and new customer to develop timelines and roles/responsibilities, both with the start up and ongoing.
RequirementsQualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Business preferred
  • CSCMP (Certify Supply Chain Management Professional) preferred certification, CPIM considered an asset
  • 5 years experience in high volume, multi-location distribution environment or equivalent MRP experience in multi-plant manufacturing environment
  • Strong communicator and leader able to hold their team accountable and motivated through formal evaluations and informal feedback. Supervisory/management experience preferred
  • Extremely organized and proven ability to prioritize, be flexible and adaptable to market conditions and dynamics
  • Able to partner and influence key stakeholders and be results oriented - Identify improvement opportunities and recommend solutions
  • Strong analysis skills – Microsoft Excel and Supply Planning Systems
  • English, bilingualism (French) an asset.
