Job Description

OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION:Manage IT Infrastructure and Application portfolio for Habasit Canada.RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION - IT

  • Ensure Information Technology infrastructure supports business unit needs and adheres to Habasit Group standards.
  • Ensure Information Technology Projects align with the Habasit Canada, Habasit America and Habasit Group Information Architecture, Application Architecture, and Company strategy.
  • Collaborate with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop project requests.
  • Develop and manage Company-wide training on appropriate policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with Habasit America and third-party service providers to provide support services as needed.
  • Evaluate and implement IT procedures for maximum efficiency and cost containment.
  • Ensure users/customers are provided professional, courteous, and timely support and service.
  • Stay abreast of trends and regulations to ensure effectiveness and compliance.

  • Required – Bachelor Degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience
  • Required – 5 years of experience in Information Technology
  • Required – 3 years of experience in the SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution.
  • Required – Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Required – Strong attention to details and technicalities.
  • Required – Excellent organizational and technical skills.
  • Required – Good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills.
  • Preferred – 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Preferred – Experience managing IT technical resources.
  • Preferred – Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Preferred – A Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
