Job Description

  • Garden maintenance – cultivating, weeding, perennial care, pruning
  • Operate small equipment like backpack blowers, hedge trimmers
  • Planting trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals
  • Building gardens – site setup, digging, wheel barrowing, planting, mulching and amending soil
  • raking gardens and lawns (fall close)
  • Learning and expanding knowledge of landscape maintenance and garden installation
  • A high level of professionalism and strong work ethic and an excellent communicator
  • Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
  • Able to perform gardening tasks that involve frequent lifting and/or bending and kneeling for long periods of time
  • Ability to work both independently and in conjunction with other staff, (team player)
  • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
  • Driving to and from job sites in Oakville, Burlington and south Mississauga
  • You must have a Vehicle to get to job sites
  • You must live 30km from Oakville, Ontario Canada
