In addition, the position will provide financial support for, but not limited to, Airbus programs. This would include but not be restricted to the collection, analysis, and consolidation of financial and cost data from numerous sources. This position will also be required to present various business cases to management to aid in making sound business decisions.Primary ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership to the Commercial Landing Gear program accounting teamEnsure accounting operations are in compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and all international legal or statutory requirementsReview and approve journal entries and account reconciliations prepared by direct reportsPartner with Operations Finance and Poland to improve reporting efficiency within CMS Value streamsPerform budgeting/forecasting tasks for Airbus programIdentify and communicate financial risks and opportunitiesProvide results analysis by program; perform gap analyses to Plan and ForecastPrepare and present monthly program reviews with program management.Perform and contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual tasks and reportingPrepare Journal Entries and perform account reconciliationsEnsure proper revenue recognition and prepare EAC (estimate at completion) / recoverability models following the ASC606 standard.Establish/maintain support for general and campaign warranty reservesInvestigate aging contra inventory for resolution and closureEstablish and monitor standard costs for assigned programs, ensuring the integrity of costing and identifying any unusual trends or exceptionsPerform make/buy analysesProvide estimating/negotiating support for new business proposals and analysis during and after new program start upDevelop business case presentations using NPV, IRR, and MIRR tools in support of strategic product developmentPerform ad hoc analyses for projects as assignedParticipate and identify Continuous Improvement projects and cost reduction initiativesAssist in audit requests as required.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience ORAdvance degree and 3 years of relevant experience ORIn absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is requiredPrevious experience managing direct reportsAccounting designation CPA (CA, CMA.
