Job Description

This position is responsible for the daily inspection and maintenance of the vehicle display, appearance and general organization of all new and/or pre-owned vehicles at the dealership.Reporting to the Pre-Owned Manager your responsibilities will be:

  • Cleans showroom cars daily and assists with coordinating showroom as required.
  • Prepares vehicles for test drives; ensures cleanliness and gas tanks are filled.
  • Details and fills gas tanks of pre-owned vehicles and vehicles for delivery.
  • Delivers and/or picks up documents from License Bureau as required.
  • Checks in new vehicles when they arrive by transport and notes any damage on the Bill of Lading.
  • Reports all defects and/or damages to Sales Manager immediately.
  • Ensures all vehicle doors are locked and alarms are set as per dealership procedures.
  • Organizes lot to ensure vehicles are positioned as per dealership requirements.
  • Responsible to maintain the general housekeeping of the lot, showroom and showroom washrooms on a continuous basis.
  • Runs errands for reception and the sales department as required. Qualifications• Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal & written English)
  • Must be a self-starter who can work effectively and efficiently on their own
  • Must be organized and have attention to detail
  • Must take pride in the job as the appearance of the vehicle reflects directly upon customer perception of the dealership
  • Ability to work cohesively with employees and managers as part of a team
