Job Description

Summary:A senior Quality Engineering position, reports into Quality Clinic Manager. Previous supervisory experience an asset but not necessary. Individual willing to grow would be ideal. The position also represents the team in cross-functions reviews, as required.Primary responsibilities:

  • A senior Quality Engineering position, reporting into Quality Clinic Manager. Previous supervisory experience an asset. Individual willing to grow in the team would be ideal. Will also represents the team in cross-functions reviews and updates.
  • Lead RCCAs and improvement projects and communicate progress in different settings (With support from the team)
  • Facilitate cross-functional investigations and determine root causes, establish corrective actions and drive closure on wide variety of technical and process issues.
  • Collect and analyze data to advise the business on quality performance and to set priorities based on Pareto Analysis and data trends.
  • Work with Quality, Operations, Engineering personnel to support and drive improvements on assigned projects.
  • Interface with all levels of the organization for monitoring and reporting KPIs related to quality trends. Participate in daily Quality Clinic meetings.
  • Perform audits as required (product, process internal, etc.) to ensure compliance and conformity.
  • Create standard instructions, quality alerts and procedures to support investigations or implement improvements.
  • Work collaboratively with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations and M&PT teams focused on problem solving.
  • Perform other duties and engage in projects based on business needs. Lead other Quality Engineers when assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR
  • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required
  • Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Bachelor’s degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
