Job Description

Full-time, permanent positionIf you are passionate about delivering high-quality products that provide business and user value, enjoy a fast-paced environment and are excited to join a dedicated team of like-minded individuals – then this is the role for you!We are looking for a Product Manager with a proven track record of turning ideas into meaningful solutions, with experience in product management, ideally in a SaaS or similar industry.This role will work closely with the Solutions Architect and Customer Success ManagerJOB DUTIES1. Establish the product/service strategy & roadmap and manage the product/service through its lifecycle:

  • Work with a variety of stakeholders, partners, and vendors to identify opportunities to improve products/services, implementation methodologies, and business processes
  • Assess product/service against industry competitors, and consider innovations implemented elsewhere
  • Conduct user surveys, and convene product/service user groups to collect, analyze, and prioritize potential enhancements
  • Develop and maintain product/service roadmaps identifying enhancements, supporting analysis, and implementation timelines, and work with internal and external teams to comply with roadmap
  • Participate in the development and execution of product business development and communication plans
2. Manage day-to-day business operations for the designated product(s) and/or services(s):
  • Lead and carry out activities related to ongoing client adoption, including engagement with internal/external delivery partners for deployment and client engagement
  • Provide day-to-day direction for product team and cross-departmental resources assigned to the designated product(s) and/or services(s)
  • Working closely with internal technical/solution partners, ensure appropriate service levels are monitored and vendor relationships are maintained
  • Ensure appropriate key performance indicators and operational business objectives are established and reported to various stakeholders
  • Lead benefits evaluation and research initiatives to demonstrate the ongoing value of the product/service
3. Transition SaaS projects to operational state:
  • Working closely with Solutions Architect, support the transition of initiatives from project state to business operations
  • Monitor adherence to corporate standard processes and policies
REQUIRED SKILLS
  • University degree/College diploma in Business Administration, Information Technology or equivalent
  • 5 years of experience in product management and/or project management role
  • 3 years experience with SaaS products, with a preference for line of business management
  • PMI, ITIL, and/or CPHIMS-CA designation(s) or actively working toward completion is an asset
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the automotive industry
  • Experience with benefits evaluations, customer surveys, workshops and product strategy development
  • Experience with delivery in traditional or agile software development methodology
  • Well-developed consulting skills to gather information, achieve consensus and deliver quality solutions
  • Knowledge of project cost and financial management including planning, budgeting, controlling, administration and reporting
  • Able to build and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners
  • Excellent written communication and oral presentation skills, and able to present technical topics to non-technical audiences
  • In-depth working knowledge of a variety of computer software including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point, and Project)
DESIRED SKILLSDesired, but not required:
  • Bilingual French & English would be an asset
