Job Description

As a Global Procurement Function, we live by, and execute to as a competitive advantage for SUEZ WTS by unlocking true potential of our talent, investing in digital enablement, and building holistic strategic partnerships that will sustainably serve our customers, communities, and environment.The Sourcing Project Leader will play a key role with external supply chain activities from kick-off through project close out, in accordance with the project strategy and the project team. Operationally youll keep projects on track and aligned with the sourcing strategy, including coordinating the external supply chain activities for the project team. This is an important role and were looking for someone who is passionate about supply chain management and interested in working for a company thats doing big things to help create a cleaner, more sustainable world for us all. If this sounds like you, heres more!Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtains the savings target on the project and applies all standard levers available through the Sourcing Team, while satisfying the cost, schedule, and quality requirements of the project.
  • Coordinates the external supply chain activities with category managers for assigned projects. Coordinates with Category Managers to develop new suppliers and alternative sources of materials and/or raw materials, aiming for high quality and low cost of products with a focus in best cost country (BCC).
  • Participates in the planning, scheduling and production control of the project. Maintains the project purchasing dashboard using the standard tools. Consolidates and validates internal and external budgets for sourcing, logistics and quality. Tracks and follows the project costs and time variances while taking all necessary actions to avoid deviations to budget.
  • Working in the external supply chain team to reach successful project milestones, deliveries, and compliance with the deadlines (internal and external) for supply chain deliverables.
  • Participate in various Value Analysis projects & Kaizen blitz projects to improve sourcing.
Core Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
  • 5 + years’ experience in increasing roles in purchasing, strategic sourcing or supply chain
Other Useful Skills & Abilities:
  • Process & Digital Solutions, SAP Knowledge and good analytical skills combined with the ability to draw conclusions to make recommendations.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings with the ability to communicate technical information to various internal and external customers.
  • Creative, organized and self-motivated for success. Experience in working in different cultures and environments, in a matrixed organization
