  • Perform inspection & acceptance of Spare parts for various aftermarket customers, OEM.
  • Must have Intermediate knowledge of PLM system, SAP and Microsoft Office tools
  • Evaluate products for acceptance criteria and initiate rejection process where required
  • Complete delivery documents and maintain systems records for traceability and movement of products
  • Perform Root Cause Corrective Action using in case of an escape to customer.
  • Interface with Spares Management group and shipping team to make sure that products are shipped on time.
  • Perform work in compliance with the safety requirements.
  • Will be required to work independently and with minimal supervision to complete tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • The qualified applicant will be required after adequate training and experience, to certify & buy-off products per customer Quality Requirements
  • You must be able to participate in the AOG (Aircraft On Ground) on-call rotation schedule.
Key Qualifications:
  • 4+ years in Aerospace inspection (bonus if in aftermarket/MRO environment)
  • Previous experience in preparing final inspection documents (CoC, TC Form 1 etc. )
  • Knowledge of Transport Canada requirements
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision to execute the ‘Essential Job Functions’ required
  • Ability to interpret Engineering drawings / GD&T specifications desired
  • Knowledge of Aerospace products and manufacturing processes desired
  • SAP / MPR /ERP system familiarity preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office products Excel and PowerPoint required
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
  • Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.
  • Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.
  • Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
  • Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
  • Typical 40 hour weeks plus lunch / core (required) hours
      • Afternoon shift: Monday - Friday 12 noon – 8 pm (This can translate into 3.00 pm – 11.30 pm based on business needs)
    • Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
    • Due to the nature of the work, all candidates must be a Canada Citizen or Permanent Resident.
