Come see what all the excitement is about.Reports hierarchically to the Regional General Manager with secondary reporting line to Global Remarketing Leader.Day to day:

  • Managing and coordinating team members in Asset Sales and activities (inventory and lessee sales) consistent with the strategy formulated and deployed regionally, in order to optimize the value of - and profit on - assets which have to be sold.
  • Optimizing the balance between financial results (Asset Management income) and commercial value from existing customer, vendor and dealer partnerships as well as the life cycle earning potential of the assets.
  • Harmonizing cross-departmental communication and leading the country Asset Sales Specialists to perform the following:
  • Planning in-life portfolio reviews to anticipate stream-off and formulate a targeted action plan,
  • Pro-actively facilitating regular sales reviews with Country Asset Sales Specialists, Country Sales Management, GBU Asset Management and the International Asset Sales Managers to connect the front-end activities (residual valuation, asset risk appetite) with the back-end realization results and market value assessments (“deal team” approach).
  • Aligning with GBU Sales, Asset Management and PO AMR stakeholders during the portfolio optimization process to agree smart targets for the region.
  • Leveraging knowledge sharing and implementing best practices throughout the region and Remarketing community
  • Managing current and developing new partnerships in new and existing markets and leverage internal and external digital platforms to reach a wider and diverse customer base (buyers and sellers).
  • Ensuring the Country Asset Sales Specialists have the tools, education and incentives to achieve their defined objectives. Contribute to the development of tailor-made asset sales training to effectively foster upskilling and ongoing coaching for performance.
  • Contributing to the continued development, implementation, usage and alignment of global and regional systems and tools for inventory remarketing to enable a more consistent and effective international remarketing approach.
  • Ensuring asset sales activities are taken into account and prioritized as part of the overall regional strategy. Owning strategic initiatives and coordinating project activities delivering benefits in terms of process efficiencies, system innovation and competitiveness.

  • Commercial seniority and leadership, confidence in negotiating and challenging existing status quo to drive better outcomes for DLL business;
  • Remarketing expertise in selling used equipment in a competitive and fast-changing marketplace, positive and constructive attitude, energized by people interaction and multi-cultural dynamics, growth mindset and adaptive profile;
  • High-level knowledge and experience with targeted equipment types including Construction, Industrial and Agricultural equipment including general understanding of specifications/options, hours/condition/age and engine emissions requirements;
  • Good level of interactive, presentation and commercial skills. Leadership and project management skills;
  • Ability to clearly communicate and build relationships with stakeholders within a network organization, customer focused and interaction with others based on persuasion with by personal impact;
  • Experience in managing bigger projects and driving change across an organization;
  • Experience in structuring and formalizing of partnerships to facilitate business requirements;
  • Interaction with others demands influencing and persuasion in a tactful manner and with understanding of cultural and business differences as well as sensitive issues.
