Job Description

As a Store Manager, you will empower your team to achieve outstanding operational results, while delivering outstanding customer service. PPG Paints is hiring a motivated Store Manager for our location in Oakville, ON. If you are a hardworking leader that enjoys a fast-paced environment, then this could be a career opportunity for you!Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the store in terms of managing accounts payable and accounts receivable;
  • Ensure good inventory management;
  • Follow store merchandising standards;
  • Advise customers and enforce customer service standards;
  • Follow and enforce all company policies regarding health, safety and the environment;
  • See that company procedures are respected;
  • Administer the branchs salary budget
  • Perform store staff management (hiring, dismissal, performance evaluation, etc.)
  • Develop the clientele using the tools available to PPGs business development.
Qualifications
  • Must have a high school diploma (DES);
  • Have an interest in the field of painting;
  • Experience in retail sales is an asset;
  • Good knowledge of architectural and industrial products
  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds infrequently and 40-60 pounds routinely.
