Job Description

The Swim Academy has been family owned and operated since it was founded in 1993, and has taught thousands of children how to swim in the Oakville, Mississauga and Ancaster areas in a professional and innovative environment. Our quality instruction is based on an advanced swimming curriculum which helps your child succeed while building confidence through the mastery of swimming skills.There are many benefits working at the Oakville Swim Academy. Our shifts are available during the daytime, after school hours and weekends. You are welcome to opt in for 1, 2 or 3 shifts (or more) a week! Shifts are generally:Weekdays: 3:40 - 9:00 pmWeekends: 8:00am - 1:00pm and/or 1:00pm - 5:00pmAs OSA takes pride in consistency of instructors throughout each swimming session, you must commit for at least January 2023 - June 2023.We are looking for instructors with current NLS or Swim Instructors as well as Standard First Aid. Dont have these qualifications yet but have your Bronze Cross completed Good news, you are still encouraged to apply for this position as we have OSA staff continous improvment program to help our staff acheive their NLS and/or Swim Instructors certificates! Please inquire within and we can be a part of your aquatic leadership journey.Training will start in November and December pending on the date of hire.Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Full-time, SeasonalSalary: $16.00-$21.00 per hourSchedule:
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Licence/Certification:
  • Standard First Aid (preferred)
