This role is based in our Oakville Office, and reports to the Director, End-to-End Supply Chain Planning.Do not miss the opportunity to join a broad family of people-centric professionals, thought leaders and rapid thinkers, entrepreneurs in spirit and status quo-fighters!Job Purpose:We are seeking an energetic Senior Manager for Demand Planning .The successful candidate will work to improve the accuracy and reliability of the demand plan through the projection of the most realistic estimate of customer demand within the Monthly Business Planning framework.This individual will lead a team of demand planners and support strategic objectives by leveraging supply chain modeling techniques, to develop tactical and operational consensus demand forecasts. They will be a change agent to drive a continuous improvement mindset and will collaborate with sales to garner the value add information required to obtain the optimal resultsKey Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Demand Management function for the IPEX North American business:
  • Drive the S amp;OP and monthly business planning processes.
  • Steer the collaborative efforts across multiple organizational functions (marketing, sales, finance, and supply chain) to develop a consensus plan for integrating financial expectations with operational execution.
  • Integrate best practices for key Demand Management processes such as S amp;OP, demand planning and budgeting, and innovation forecast and execution.
Drive the improvement of forecast accuracy at the item level by collaborating with Sales to extract new information/indicators that will become part of a robust process. Provide value-added business advice and key performance counsel to management in support of achieving the company’s business and financial commitments. Support the elaboration of the 3-year strategic sale plan (called Long Term Capacity Planning process) for North American business and ensure the alignment with the corporate strategies. Develop, implement,t and maintain relevant reports and tools pertaining to the Demand Planning process. Refine and optimize the demand statistical software (SO99). Manage a team of demand planners to drive and facilitate the collaborative planning process:
  • Lead, inspire, and manage the work efforts of the team related to processes and forecasting practices.
  • Build talent by managing the performance and development of direct reports.
  • Actively participate in succession planning of the Supply Chain Department and manage the career progression and development of team members.
RequirementsEducationamp; Experience:
  • University degree or College diploma in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a Business-related discipline.
  • 7-10 years of experience in demand planning.
  • Management experience is required.
  • Results-focused with a strong service orientation, and strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Bilingual in French and English is considered an asset.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • APICs certification is a plus.
  • Lean, or Six Sigma, training is considered an asset.
