Research within the School of Engineering is interdisciplinary, and the successful candidate will be expected to add research strengths in advanced manufacturing, production technology, industrial systems engineering, and/or engineering design. The Manufacturing Engineering Program offers students immersive, hands-on learning experiences tailored to prepare them for impactful careers in the manufacturing sector. The eligibility for appointment at each rank is as follows:Assistant Professor: The successful candidate will have demonstrated evidence of ability in teaching and demonstrated ability in scholarly activity. Applicants who will have successfully defended the Ph.D. dissertation by the position start date will be considered.Salary range: $115,000 - $140,000 / yearAssociate Professor: The successful candidate will have demonstrated evidence of successful teaching and ability to direct graduate students, evidence of sustained and productive scholarly activity, and must be willing to participate in the affairs of the School and the University.Salary range: $160,000 - $200,000 / yearProfessor: The successful candidate will have demonstrated appropriate standards of excellence in teaching, have received wide recognition in their sustained and productive scholarly activity, a proven track record of creating and leading strong, innovative, externally funded research programs, and participated significantly in academic and professional affairs.
