The Job:Reporting to the VGG Heritage Manager, this position provides visitor services at JTC, organizingpresentations, providing tours, creating exhibits and programs, researching and collecting exhibitmaterials and maintenance of exhibits. The position assists the supervisor in developing fundingproposals, programming budgets and work plans. Position is also responsible for marketing the JTC toachieve maximum usage and other related office duties. This position interacts with the general publicconstantly.The Candidate:The ideal candidate will have completed Grade 12 or equivalency combined with post-secondarycoursework in marketing, tourism, cultural studies or a related discipline and at least one year experiencein program delivery or equivalent experience. The Ideal candidate will have above averagecommunication skills as well as excellent interpersonal, public relations skills and ability to multi task.Knowledge and understanding of Vuntut Gwitchin traditions and values including understanding VuntutGwitchin history, culture and traditions is a requirement.This is a full time position based on 32.5 hours per week.
