Duties and Responsibilities

Process all orders and collect payment from customers, and provide assistance in food & beverage areas including busing, cleaning, resetting tables, and delivering food to guests
Perform general cleaning and maintenance of food and beverage prep areas, counts the till at end of shifts, and follows property control audit standards and cash handling procedures
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets
Welcome and acknowledges all guests according to Marriott standard and thank guests with genuine appreciation
Develop and maintains positive working relationships with others, and support team to reach common goals
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
Monitor and observe guests dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and objects in excess of 50 pounds with assistance
Stand, sit, or walk for an extended time period
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested
Is available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Bistro/Banquets food and beverage operations as directed by the Food and Beverage Manager or immediate supervisor
