Our strong leadership team of forward-thinking businesspeople and dedicated hard-working employees continually put their focus and attention on the agent and their business.Simple, Reliable, Profitable.DescriptionAs an integral member of the Right at Home Realty team, you will provide overall management, direction and leadership to the Durham branch employees and real estate agents, as well as act as the direct line between the corporate office and this location. This position requires a strong leader who is self-motivated and can lead and mentor agents and office staff while ensuring efficiency in the daily operations of this full-service busy branch office. Sales, customer service, relationship management and marketing are all within the scope of this role. The Branch Manager is deeply committed to supporting the growth of the team and mastering their own skills to become a supportive leader within the organization.Responsibilities:

  • Devote your full attention and ability to the business and affairs of the Brokerage and provide consistent leadership, mentorship, and customer service to branch staff, agents, and consumers.
  • Support the agents and branch staff in the achievement of their professional goals and job responsibilities, while keeping them abreast of industry information and changes to rules and regulations by governing bodies.
  • Actively work towards the recruitment and retention of agents, in-line the company goals and objectives.
  • Be a part of the recruitment, onboarding and offboarding of new and departing staff.
  • Field issues and complaints and requests in a professional manner working together to reach a mutual outcome for both parties.
  • Assist administration to ensure compliance of all real estate laws and rules and regulations.
  • Effectively handle all consumer and colleague issues, as well as legal actions from RECO and TREB with support and input from corporate counsel.
  • Investigate, organize, and follow up on specific projects or proposals as requested by management.
  • Organize and lead sales meetings, training presentations and branch events.
  • Participate and support in RAHR sponsored training and development programs.
  • Interview and recruit both new and experienced agents, introduce them to our program, review policies & procedures and assist with onboarding.
  • Participate in weekly and monthly management meetings.
  • Build an inclusive and positive culture in the community and investigate opportunities for RAHR to participate in community events.
  • Stay current in the real estate industry via research, meetings, conferences, and industry networks.
  • Promote a positive attitude and atmosphere, instilling ‘teamwork’ and personal growth throughout the branch.
  • Maintain a tidy, organized, and efficient branch office.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Registered Real Estate Broker, Real Estate Council of Ontario
  • Additional certifications/designations are an asset
  • Real estate management experience required
  • General Management level experience leading a branch or division
  • Hands-on knowledge of residential real estate brokerage and branch operations
  • Well-developed business, financial and administrative management skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal, listening and communication skills
  • Proficient in current technology with the ability to adapt to new technology
  • Team player, approachable, supportive, positive, responsive, respectful, and transparent
  • Clear communicator both written and verbally
  • Thinks and acts like an owner
  • Ability to multi-task various projects at once while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Performance management: ability to plan and implement objectives and evaluate performance to ensure goal accomplishment
