As a Child and Youth Worker (CYW), you will assist our clients with all aspects of personal care, developmental needs and help them live more safely and independently.   • Skilled Child and Youth Worker (CYW) who works with children on the spectrum and disabilities is ideal.
  • Ensure Jakob is entirely supervised at all times with any children.
  • Pro-social activities.
  • Any activities outdoor/indoor as long as he is supervised and mom is in agreement.
For Child 2 and 3:
  • Skilled Child and Youth Worker (CYW) who works with children on the spectrum and disabilities is ideal.
  • Ensure the children are supervised appropriately and engaging in positive pro social activities.
  • Any activities outdoor/indoor as long as they are supervised and mom is in agreement.
Job Qualifications:Work Experience
  • 1+ years of relevant experience working as a Child and Youth Worker (CYW)
  • Experience working in healthcare with individual clients or with child who has autism
Certification
  • Child and Youth Worker (CYW) from an accredited educational institution
  • Valid Vulnerable Sector Check < 6 months
  • TB Test <3 months
  • Standard First Aid CPR (Class C) certificate
  • Covid-19 Vaccination proof ( Both Doses)
Language Skills
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently and clearly.
  • Ability to read medical prescriptions and complete Incident Report Form.
Transferable Skills
  • Ability to accommodate and take On-Call & weekend shifts as required*
  • Ability to comply with standard policies/ procedures and ensure safe work practices
  • Eligible Candidates must be flexible in terms of scheduling and have a can-do attitude
