Job Description

Momentum Logistics is looking for expereinced cargo/sprinter drivers who are hardworking and reliable. The selected candidate will be expected to work 8 to 12 hours a day from Monday to Friday. Punctuality and reliability is of utmost importance for this role.Yard location: Pontypool, ONWorkdays: Monday to Friday No WeekendsShift Start time: approximately 6:30AM to 7:30AM and work 8 to 12 hour shiftWhat you will do:

  • Drive Sprinter vehicle to deliver freights to assigned stops
  • Deliver freights in good condition and within scheduled time (40+ deliveries daily average)
  • Load and Unload freight in proper sequence with the use of a dolley and or pallet truck (lift up to 70lbs)
  • Complete any necessary paperwork accurately
  • Perform all safety checks, including pre-trip and post-trip inspection
  • Report on all safety hazards and accidents
  • Use a cellular phone to communicate with dispatch ie. truck breakdowns, delivery concerns, answer calls, texts etc.
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Adhere to safety and compliance regulations
  • Additional duties as required
Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $21.00-$22.00 per hourSchedule:
  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends
Experience:
  • Sprinter/cargo van: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
  • G License (required)
