Job Description

Who we are looking for:AiM is actively recruiting reliable, conscientious, and motivated candidates who have an eye for detail and an ability to stay focused to join our team of New Car Inspectors.We will happily train motivated individuals who are looking to begin or enhance their auction automotive career. If you are tech aware with an interest in cars and all other types of vehicles, this is an excellent opportunity for you!Summary:Our New Car Inspectors focus on conducting quality assurance/transportation vehicle inspections by assessing the condition of new vehicles at fixed ports of entry- on the ground or aboard a rail car or vessel (depending on the location). You will assess the vehicle condition of newly manufactured vehicles in route to their final destination and record any minor/ major impact damages, vandalism, factory defects, restraint failure damages, accidents, weather related damages and damages incurred during the transportation process. We process inspections using a mobile device equipped with proprietary inspection software that is convenient to use and easy to learn. This is a great opportunity to get some fresh air as much of our inspecting of vehicles happens outside.AiM is proud to operate a drug-free workplace. What you will need:
  • Ability to work outside during all weather conditions
  • Ability to bend, reach, stand, walk and lift up-to 20 lbs without difficulty
  • Regular and consistent availability and attendance
  • Willing to submit to a Background Check and Drug Screening
A Plus:
  • 1-3 years of experience in the automobile field (i.e, body mechanic shop, inspections, etc.)
  • Auto body, paint and mechanical knowledge
