They are always trying to better themselves, seeking out new product information, knowledge and feedback. And they do all this while being kind, genuine and responsible individuals. Cannabis Guides at Northern Helm Oshawa don’t see the store as just another dispensary – they see it as a way to improve lives through sustainable access to cannabis.RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create positive guest experiences by building loyalty and carefully considering each guest’s unique needs

• Display a strong foundation of cannabis knowledge, while showing initiative to create compelling yet convenient cannabis shopping experiences

• Consistently look for areas to make improvements to operations and business results

• Drive sales by educating guests on cannabis products and accessories

• Successfully achieve sales targets and other key business metrics

• Support with completing all tasks and duties as assigned

• Adhere to all company training, operational standards and procedures

• Ensure compliance with all company policies and programs

• Adhere to all federal, provincial and municipal legislative requirements of cannabis retailers

• Complete tasks as assigned by Supervisors/Managers

• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-3 years experience in customer service with a preference for retail

• Proven ability to deliver positive guest experiences and develop customer loyalty

• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Strong verbal and written communication with excellent organizational skills

• Basic knowledge of the cannabis plant, recreational product offerings and safe consumption methods

• True passion for cannabis products and education

• Open to feedback and eager to improve

• Responsible, reliable, and guest-oriented

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum age 19 years old

• Able to lift boxes 5-35 lbs

• Must be willing to work shifts scheduled by company and comfortable with ever changing duties

• The successful candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check and CannSell certification

Job Type: Part-timePart-time hours: 10-30 per weekSalary: $16.00 per hourSchedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
