The Faculty of Business requires a part-time professor to teach COMP 1214 – Business Computer Applications IIStudents will be introduced to spreadsheets and how to utilize Excel to solve business related problems. Students will be given the opportunity to learn and develop the necessary skills required to prepare and format spreadsheets, create charts, and apply business and financial functions that are widely used in business. This introductory course will prepare students for further study in intermediate/advanced Excel applications as they continue in their program of study. As part of this course, students will have the opportunity to attempt the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Excel Associate (Office 365 and 2019) Exam in an effort to obtain Microsoft Office Specialist Certification (a globally recognized credential).
