Job Description

To succeed as a delivery driver, you should be polite and prompt with a commitment to providing our clients with an excellent experience. You should be thorough in ensuring orders are properly fulfilled, committed to working safely, and a strong team oriented attitude.Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

  • Pick up and delivery of passenger,light truck, commercial tires and rims.
  • Accurately filling out paperwork including details of shipments and orders between Tiremaster Limited and customers
  • Confirm inbound and outbound delivery shipments to ensure accuracy on all orders.
  • Control and maintain a safe load. i.e. Loading tires and other goods safely, properly securing loads to avoid damage to materials or company property.
  • Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
  • Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
  • Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
  • Assist supervisor and colleagues with tasks as they arise.
Skills:
  • Ability to complete proper daily Pre-End post vehicle inspection.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and develop new skills as required.
  • Ability to lift from 10 lbs to 150 lbs.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Attention to detail.
Requirements:
  • Valid Ontario drivers license.
  • Clean driving record.
  • DZ License is required.
  • Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
  • Adhere to Tiremasters Limited Health and Safety policy when working on and offsite.
  • Safety shoes are mandatory at all times.
NOTE: Successful applicant is required to provide proof of a valid DZ license and a clean drivers abstract on condition of employment.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentCOVID-19 considerations:To ensure the safety of our employees we supply masks, gloves and sanitizer. Customers are limited in the shop area and each driver has one designated truck.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $20.00-$22.00 per hourBenefits:
