We are committed to delivering exceptional patient care along with providing an affordable, unique, and fashionable product to all.We are an ambitious, solutions-focused, and energetic group passionate about making a positive difference in communities needing access to this important service.About the roleAs a Regional Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of retail operations across Canada. Supported by an experienced team of Store Managers, the team will be looking to their Regional Manager for coaching and guidance on the operational and strategic requirements of the business in their patch.This role can be based anywhere but will include traveling and meeting with our amazing teams across Canada.Core responsibilities:

  • Leading and assisting with the opening of new stores across the assigned region.
  • Monitoring budgets and rosters to ensure sales targets and KPIs are achieved.
  • Supporting the team to ensure stores operate to agreed lease terms and hours of operation.
  • Oversee the hiring activities of leadership and Optometry positions in Canada.
  • Work with stores to develop brand awareness; establish, maintain and expand the customer base.
  • Assist teams with solving complex problems and identifying non-conformances to procedures and processes; make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Implement company strategies and assist with change management activities.
About the personThis role would suit a person either in a similar role in the retail or healthcare industries, or perhaps someone who has strong retail management experience but seeking to further their career in a larger global organisation.
  • Ideally 3+ years of retail management experience supporting 20+ sites.
  • Ability to travel and visit different Oscar Wylee stores in Canada.
  • Qualifications in retail management or similar/relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • A strong collaborative leadership style that results in the development of meaningful relationships.
  • Ability to professionally and constructively influence all stakeholders, both upwards and across the assigned regions.
  • Solution and continuous improvement-focused approach to solving problems.
  • A genuine and sincere passion for customer service and health care.
  • Proven ability to coach effective sales and leadership skills.
  • Ability to make decisions quickly and think creatively.
