Job Description

Position: Branch ManagerLocation: Edmonton - Ottawa, CanadaDuration: Full-TimeSalary: DOEPOSITION OVERVIEWThe client is looking for an experienced and driven Branch Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, sales performance, customer service, and team leadership. The ideal candidate has a strong background in industrial, plumbing, or mechanical product distribution, and is confident in managing both people and processes to meet business goals.Qualifications:· Diploma in Business, Sales, or related field.· 5+years of experience in a branch or sales management role.· Strong industry knowledge in mechanical, plumbing, or industrial supplies.· Proven leadership, communication, and customer service skills.· Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.· Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.· Mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret technical documentation is an asset.Key Responsibilities:· Lead branch operations, including inside sales, customer service, warehouse, and inventory control.· Oversee order processing and ensure timely, accurate fulfillment and delivery coordination.· Resolve customer issues, provide product support, and drive customer satisfaction.· Manage inventory levels and coordinate purchasing of non-stock items.· Prepare sales quotes and assist with forecasting and budgeting.· Collaborate with outside sales, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve issues and streamline operations.· Recruit, train, and develop branch staff; conduct performance evaluations.· Promote a safe work environment by enforcing company Healthamp; Safety policies.· Strengthen relationships with key customers and suppliers to support growth.· Monitor competitive activity and market trends to support business development.· Generate and review reports on sales, inventory, and operational performance.
