Job Description

49 Solutions is looking for an ESDC - Credentials Management Specialist to support the Request for Proposal (RFP) process. This role will be critical in managing and overseeing the credentials verification process within the Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) organization. We are seeking a detail-oriented specialist who can ensure compliance with federal regulations and protocols.     • Design and develop technical architectures, cloud frameworks and security strategies in order
    • to meet CDS’ business and application requirements
    • Provide recommendations and best practices regarding the use of Azure services with respect to security, networking, infrastructure deployment, Azure account management, monitoring, and logging
    • Identify the technical threats to, and vulnerabilities of, GC Issue and Verify
    • Design, implement and manage identity and access management (IAM) systems, ensuring secure credential and authorization processes
    • Develop and maintain IAM configurations in cloud environments, ensuring proper identity management and access controls
    • Integrate and manage authentication methods, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and protocols like OAuth, SAML, and LDAP, for secure access to ESDC systems and applications
    • A strong understanding of federal policies and procedures regarding credentials is an asset.
    • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in information technology, security, or a related field is preferred.
    • Eligibility for a security clearance is required (Secret or higher).
