Job Description

Position Title: Product Assembler – OvernightLength of Contract: 1 yearLocation: Ottawa, ONBenefits: 4% vacation premiumSchedule: 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM Overview of RoleAs a Product Assembler, you are responsible for overseeing the proper function of assembly lines. The ideal candidate for this role has technical abilities, is detail oriented, and has great time management.Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all actions required in the operation of the Klockner machine to produce calibration packs (calpaks) according to established policies and procedures
  • Evaluate quality and productivity problems to minimize defects and maximize throughout
  • Make required material changes in a timely manner to minimize lost processing time
  • Record accurate, legible data in a timely manner at all points in the process, in accordance with documented procedures and GMP standards and practices
  • Understand and comply with applicable EHS policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Safeguard the environment and facilitate a safe and healthy workplace culture
  • Miscellaneous other duties as may be required
Job Requirements:Requirements and Assets
  • High School Diploma
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, an asset
  • Strong detail-oriented skills
  • Works well independently and in collaboration with others
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to follow precise instructions with minimal guidance
