Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Works with the Senior Manager to manage the delivery project(s)/ program.
  • Leads, motivates and provides guidance/coaching to team members.
  • Plans, coordinates, organizes, directs and controls project activities to achieve desired results
  • Provides estimates, and manages budgets
  • Provide financial forecastsamp; accruals as required
  • Defines and manages project scope e.g. via Joint application development (JAD) sessions
  • Conducts project review meetings and ensures quality standards are adhered to through all phases of the project
  • Manages client issues and project risks
  • Validates project form as, ensuring accuracy of billing, charges to projects, etc.
  • Utilizes project management best practices
  • Design and publish plan of record to senior leadership
  • Supports the Senior Manager in dealings with the external vendors and tracking their work.
RequirementsQualifications:
  • Valid PMP designation
  • Ready to lead into implementing agile practices at an enterprise scale- based on resent experience or at least formal Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe®) training.
  • Experience working on Carrier grade Voice telephony project
  • Multi-years experience in vendor management – to be savvy in both sides of the relationship: experience as PM/PgM representing the vendor(s) as well as being the PM/PgM managing both Canadian based and internationally based external vendors.

  • Work hours are Monday - Friday, normal 40 hours weeks working onsite up to 5 days a week
