Job Description

DescriptionFortinet is growing and we are looking to hire a Cloud Software Developer to join our team in Ottawa and you will be working as part of the FortiVoice team to develop there cloud private service. At Fortinet, you will be involved in the full development lifecycle of software and product development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for development and learning new technologies. Skills and Knowledge Required:

    •5+ year Experience in C/C++, unix shell scripts, and script programming, such as Python. •5+ years of software development experience in Unix/Linux environment •Experience in VOIP such as SIP, SIP proxy, media proxy. •Very strong background in TCP/IP networking. •Nice to have experience with database management systems, such as MySql. •Experience in cloud computing system implementation, such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc. •Experience in containerized cloud computing, such as Kubernetes, Docker etc. •Experience or knowledge of SaaS, cloud computing infrastructure and implementation is a plus •Experience of administration of virtualization platforms, such as KVM, Xen, VMWare, is a plus. •Excellent written and verbal communication skills.You will also bring to the team:
