The incumbent will demonstrate strong entrepreneurship and dedication to the ongoing operations, management, and transformation of tooling as EDC continues is digital transformation.Key Responsibilities- Design, develop and implement and short- and long-term solutions for diverse IT customer needs through EDC #39;s Infrastructure platform- Advocates for the continued growth and modernization of EDC infrastructure workflow, through constant evaluation and continued delivery.- Reviews system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs and implements and sustains software solutions and systems.- Conducts a wide range of quality control tests and analyses to ensure that systems meet or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements.- Ensures that system improvements and systems tests are successfully completed and documented, all problems are resolved and systems are successfully implemented.- Design and implement automated delivery pipelines for the cloud services. Automating infrastructure services asset life cycle and processes (monitoring, patching, events notifications, configurations remediation, HA/DR requirements).- Ensure Agile and DevOps best practices are applied to the delivery and security architecture standards are followed.- Identify and document information security risks and propose mitigating controls.- Works with Product Owners, Architects, and technology leadership to develop customer-focused roadmap to grow and mature the platform.Screening Criteria- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related discipline.- Minimum 7 years experience in IT systems development or related experience, and at least 3 years of hands-on work experience in cloud- Advanced knowledge of infrastructure middleware components such as IBM Workload Automation and MoveIT AutomationAssets- Certification in Agile or Lean management methodologies.- Certifications in Azure, AWS, or other major public cloud platform.- Experience working with automation tooling and frameworks.- Understanding of modern networking components, such as Firewalls, DNS, VPN, BGP, etc.- Experience with coding Restful APIs and using configuration management tools- Implemented Infrastructure as a Code delivery pipelines- Knowledge of PowerShell- Previous work experience in delivery of financial services- Experience working with vendors in a managed-service environment.- Experience migrating applications and services from physical datacenter to cloud environments.- Excellent communication skills (written, spoken, presentation)- Bilingual in both official languages (French and English)Salary Range:- Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $92,355 to $123,140 plus a performance-based incentive.Location- Export Development Canada is a hybrid work environment.- This role will be performed from EDC #39;s headquarters in Ottawa.- Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.EDC #39;s Commitment to Employment EquityEDC is committed to employment equity and achieving a diverse workforce.
