We are dedicated to your success.Job DescriptionADGA has an opening for a Senior Software Developer to join our team. Within this role the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of software development projects within a team environment. Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Working effectively as a peer within an AGILE software development team
  • Performing a variety of software development assignments under minimal supervision
  • Reporting to supervisor on task completion and schedule problems
  • Developing and maintaining an understanding of client user requirements
  • Conducting analysis with a view to developing software code that addresses user requirements
  • Program Configuration Items (CIs) that address user requirements
  • Working with development team to ensure accurate/effective testing
  • Advising client or development team on aspects of programmer analysis issues pertaining to meeting user requirements
  • Providing accurate work estimates as required by development team lead
  • Any other tasks as directed by assigned DSEF Project Lead/Team Lead
Job Requirements:Qualifications
  • 8+ years of professional experience using Java, C++, C#
  • 8+ years of professional experience using CASE tools (e.g. Rational Tool Suite, GitHub etc.)
  • Professional working experience producing structured documentation
  • Professional experience performing object-oriented analysis and design
  • Master’s or Bachelor Degree Electrical, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science; or College Advanced Diploma in Computer or Electrical Engineering Technology; or Equivalent
  • Collaborates well with team members
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to work in an Agile environment
  • Must currently hold or be eligible to obtain a Government of Canada Secret level (Level II) security clearance and other clearances as required.
