Job Description

  • Location: Fully remote, US timezone

Responsibilities:Lead the development and implementation of products and features, guiding them from concept to deployment.Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to grasp requirements and prioritize tasks efficiently.Focus on user needs while making informed trade-offs among speed, quality, and functionality.Identify high-impact areas and be ready to engage where your skills are most needed across the technical stack.Tackle technical challenges to ensure optimal performance and scalability.Conduct thorough code reviews and provide technical mentorship to engineers.Requirements:Experience: Over 5 years in backend software development, ideally in a high-growth startup environment.Technical Skills: Proficient in programming languages and tools such as Python, React, React Native, AWS, Postgres, and JavaScript.Problem-Solving: Strong aptitude for tackling challenging problems and a commitment to taking ownership of your work.Communication: Effective communication skills, enabling you to deliver solutions swiftly.Product Focus: Strong product instincts with a user-first mindset in designing technical solutions.Team Player: A collaborative attitude that enhances the performance of those around you.Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the sports/trading card industry is a plus.
