Job DescriptionArcadis Global Architectureamp; Urbanism Division combines the expertise of IBI’s Buildings and Placemaking practice, our Places’ capabilities, and CRTKL’s multi-sector design leadership to offer a diverse range of solutions focusing on human-centric design, sustainability, and technology.Arcadis is looking for a talented Senior Urban Designer to join us full-time at our Placemaking Studio in Ottawa. As our Senior Urban Designer, you will also work with senior leadership to grow the Placemaking practice in Ottawa. As a leader and mentor to junior team members, you will be instrumental in the design and implementation of a diverse range of projects ranging from neighborhood master plans, smart cities, urban design, TOD, transit planning, streetscape design, parks, residential development, resorts amongst others for public and private sector clients. You will also collaborate with our Toronto team of urban designers, landscape architects and planning professionals on local and international projects of various scales.As part of the Placemaking team, you will be immersed in a fast-paced dynamic environment creating contemporary, inclusive, responsive, sustainable public and private high-quality spaces. You will be involved in all phases of the project from the master planning, consultation and conceptual design through to detailed design. You will surely thrive at Arcadis and expand your experience leading multi-disciplinary design teams and balancing innovation and design excellence with desirable outcomes for our clients and their communities.Role Accountabilities:
