Job Description

49 Solutions is looking for a Software Developer to apply for a Request for Proposal for the Bank of Canada. If successful, the resource will be on a full-time contract, and overtime/on-call may be required. Please see below for the requirements. The deadline to apply for this role is April 23rd at noon.Planned start date: 03/06/2024Term: 1 year with 2 year extensionHybrid: (expected 8 days on-site per month) Bank of Canada Head Office in OttawaThe Consultant will be responsible for providing the following Services to the Bank:Under the direction of Assistant Director, Service Management and Platform• Perform ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) assessments and develop a roadmap for enhancements and stabilization• Identify opportunity for improving the quality of the data in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB)• Troubleshoot and debug existing Configuration Management Database (CMDB) interfaces and improve them• Establish a technical project plan with key milestones and providing status updates• Create ServiceNow epics and stories• Document key technical decisions, issues, and enhancements through the entire development lifecycle• Report on development work progress• Work with the support team to ensure transition from development to operation• Provide guidance and expertise to various stakeholders throughout the life of the project• Communicate and collaborate with project team members and key stakeholders throughout the life of the project• Other related activities and deliverables as requiredRequirements

  • Reliability Clearance
  • English
  • University degree or college diploma in business administration, statistics, or a related field
  • A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience as a technical lead for ServiceNow implementations
  • A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience with the ServiceNow CMDB
Additional Qualifications The following will also be considered:
  • Demonstrated ability to use data and information to inform problem solving in relation to building systems and infrastructure
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines while working on multiple tasks
  • Demonstrated experience working and leading discussions with a broad set of stakeholders
