We are dedicated to your success.Job DescriptionADGA has a current opening for a SharePoint Developer either as a full-time employee or as a long-term contract.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SharePoint site development and management. Within this role we are looking for a candidate with the following experience:

  • Microsoft Project Server and Microsoft SQL Server
  • Implementing a new SharePoint infrastructure with a workflow engine on Windows Server and SQL Server
  • Developing custom solutions in Visual Studio.NET
  • Developing SQL-driven Business Intelligence dashboards, ETL and R Machine Learning for forecasting business work items.
  • Developing browser-based InfoPath forms and workflows used for managing departmental specific processes, content and tasks
  • Developing WSP Packages, custom web parts and user controls and designing custom workflows and notifications used for managing business workflows (i.e. tasks, approvals, receipt of materiel)
  • Using VMware virtualized environment settings
  • ETL and reporting processes using aggregate data from various applications hosted using Excel Services
  • Supporting some or all of the following back-end databases (RTM/RQM, PasswordState, Fortify and EPO, CQWeb)
  • Supporting Microsoft Project Enterprise and ETL-based BurnRate reporting dashboards (Excel Services)
Job Requirements:Qualifications
  • 5-10+ years of experience working as a SharePoint Developer completing tasks the same or similar to the job description.
  • Completion of College or University in Engineering, Computer Technology or other relevant field of study.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience with MS SharePoint and MS SQL Server.
  • 2+ years working in a Senior capacity performing the following (or similar tasks):
    • Developing strategic documentation, frameworks, and strategies.
    • Conducting reviews and assessments of program objectives from a technical perspective.
    • Analyzing and evaluating alternative solutions to meet departmental objectives.
    • Ensuring the integration of all aspects of solutions.
    • Monitoring industry trends to ensure that solutions fit with government and industry directions for technology.
Additional Information
  • This role will require a Government of Canada Secret (Level II) clearance along with other clearances
  • This position will work 2-3 days on site in Gatineau
