Their expertise spans industries such as SaaS, Fintech, Web3, and Tech, focusing on companies in the Series Seed to Series C stages.With a deep understanding of the unique financial challenges startups face, our client is committed to delivering high-quality financial solutions that drive growth while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Role OverviewOur client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tax Associate to join their dynamic team. This role will focus on preparing and reviewing tax returns, researching tax issues, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The ideal candidate has experience in business, individual, and partnership tax filings and is eager to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.This is a remote position that requires collaboration with tax and accounting professionals and direct engagement with clients.Key ResponsibilitiesTax Preparationamp; Review:

  • Prepare business, individual, and partnership tax returns.
  • Review tax returns of varying complexity to optimize outcomes while ensuring compliance.
  • Research tax issues and provide resolutions or recommendations.
Client Engagementamp; Support:
  • Communicate directly with clients to understand their tax needs and ensure their best interests are met.
  • Assist other members of the tax and accounting team to provide high-quality service.
  • Maintain client records and ensure deadlines are met.Tax Complianceamp; Strategy:
Stay updated with tax regulations and industry trends.
  • Assist in tax planning strategies for clients to maximize efficiency and compliance.
  • Ensure accuracy and confidentiality in all tax-related matters.
Skillsamp; QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional tax preparer credentials (CPA, EA, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3 years of tax experience in a public accounting firm.
  • Strong familiarity with online tax software, preferably Intuit ProConnect.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to function effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong client service focus with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience managing multiple client accounts and meeting deadlines.
