Services The Consultant will be responsible for providing the following Services: Under the direction of the Assistant Director, OS Platform and Operational Compliance:Provide direct support to projects and platform operations, deploying, maintaining, and upgrading our Windows server environment, both on-premises and cloudProvide ongoing level 2 technical support, maintenance, and improvement to the Bank #39;s current environmentsProvide direct support through a ticketing system to application owners, developers, and related internal and external teamsCreate thorough and detailed documentation (SOPs) of all changes, upgrades, procedures, user/vendor interactions, and root cause analysesRecommend ways to improve performance, quality, and efficiencyOther related activities and deliverables as required Required Qualificationsamp; Skills The Consultant should have the following qualifications and skills: A minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience with supporting critical applications in a hybrid environmentA minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated experience in Windows Server systems, with solid abilities in administering Microsoft Group Policies and Microsoft SCCMA minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated experience in performance and capacity monitoring for critical serversA minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated ability to develop and support Infrastructure as Code (IAC) with tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Azure, etc.Demonstrated experience with the maintenance and upgrading of Windows 2008 Windows 2019 Server EnvironmentsDemonstrated advanced understanding of Windows server support Demonstrated knowledge of a scripting language, such as Ansible playbooks, PowerShell or PythonDemonstrated ability to create automation scripts, deploy orchestration and automation processes and productsDemonstrated ability to make technical decisions needed to support a multi-tiered large-scale highly isolated production environment Additional Qualifications The following will also be considered:Demonstrated ability to work independentlyDemonstrated experience working with Change Management policiesDemonstrated experience in creating documentation, Visio Diagrams, support documents, Knowledge Transfer sessions Additional Requirements; 1. The Consultant(s) may need to have a computer or laptop that meets the following specifications in order to access Bank systems and applications remotely as required: - Windows 10 with version 20H2 or later or a Windows 11 device - Rights to install software required for Azure Virtual Desktop - Available USB A port - Highspeed internet connection 2. The Consultant(s) must have a smartphone which can support the Microsoft Authenticator application and appropriate Wi-Fi or cellular connectivity as it will be required for second factor verification to gain access to Bank applications
