Job Description

A Moving Experience.Are you a highly motivated individual who loves all things procurement and who wants to increase your business impact As a Procurement Sourcing Manager, you will serve as the global category lead for, but not limited to, contract labor, marketing, and HR services. We #39;re a small global team that covers the entire spectrum of the Procurement discipline, including contract negotiations, developing sourcing tactics with stakeholders, fostering supplier partnerships, and processing transactions in the ERP. This role reports to the Director of Strategic Procurement and IT Sourcing.Daily Functions / Responsibilities

  • Define and execute Cerence #39;s sourcing strategy for assigned categories, e.g., Services/Contract Labor, Technology/Software, etc.
  • Negotiate supplier contracts and ensure compliance with functional stakeholders, e.g., Legal, Privacy, IT, CISO, Finance
  • Provide thought leadership and drive early engagement with our suppliers and internal stakeholders to identify optimizations, greater value, and lower total cost of ownership (TCO)
  • Process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, change orders, and supplier records.
  • Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor #39;s degree in business, supply chain management, engineering, or related field AND 2+ years #39; experience in procurement, supply chain, engineering, operations
  • High proficiency in processing transactions in an ERP system (Purchase Reqs, Purchase Orders, and Supplier Admin), negotiating contracts, and generating KPI reports and analyzing data
  • Be able to prioritize high volume of requests, while managing high internal customer satisfaction
