Job Description

Subsidiary: Miller Paving LimitedLocation: Owen Sound, ONWhat Does a Cement Terminal Coordinator DoReporting to the Cement Terminal Supervisor, the Cement Terminal Coordinators responsibilities include but not limited to loading and unloading vessel materials, ensuring preventive maintenance of Terminal equipment is performed timely and safety protocols are adhered to. The Cement Terminal Coordinator will provide support for the Cement Terminal Supervisor in their absence.As a Cement Terminal Coordinator, You Will:

  • Load cement into incoming tanker trucks and ensure accurate documentation of required information and maintenance of files
  • Unload vessel materials, perform system tests, ensure security fencing is in place and monitor the overall unloading process of the vessel
  • Maintain accurate safety logs, conduct timely investigations, and adhere to all Miller and legislated safety and environmental protocols
  • Monitor and report all inventory levels
  • Performing general maintenance of Terminal equipment as needed
What You’ll Bring:
  • Experience with maintenance to terminal equipment and compressors, an asset
  • Sense of urgency and strong work ethic
  • Ability to build strong respectful relationships and communicate effectively and persuasively with stakeholders at all levels
  • A valid G class Driver’s license is required
  • Willingness to work day’s, evening and overnight shifts depending on arrival of product vessels
  • Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, COR and WHMIS
