Job Description

Reporting to the Supervisor of Transportation, coordinates and facilitates the maintenance of and improvements to the County road system. Provides safety to the public and employees through the provision of a County road system.Qualifications

• Post-secondary education. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Demonstrated experience in road maintenance operations. Experience in a municipal setting or with a focus on winter maintenance services is considered an asset. Certified Road Supervisor (CRS) certification or completion of additional roads operations training is also considered an asset.
• Knowledge of relevant trends and best practices, legislation and regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver programs and services.
• Ability to demonstrate the required competencies for this position in alignment with Oxford County’s competency framework.
• Demonstrated ability to foster teamwork, lead and empower teams and guide effective project management outcomes.
• A valid Ontario Class DZ driver’s license with a clean driving abstract required.
