This position is an integral part of the resort lodging team. We are looking for a Jack of all trades person who is familiar with the inner workings of various types of buildings & lodgings. As Rooms Maintenance you will be servicing the interior of condo units, town homes & hotel properties.Job DutiesAdhere to established safe working procedures and wear the proper safety equipment at all timesCompleting work requests pertaining to lodging unitsPreventative maintenance to condos and hotel interiorEnsure high standards of workmanship and efficiencyMaintain & repair all residential appliancesProvide support to all maintenance staff, immediate response to guest requests, assist outside contractors.Assist with other requests within the lodging department as requiredEnsure accurate and timely project close date; help supervisors to adjust working schedules to ensure deadlines are metAdhere to company policies and standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time deliveryEnsure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory requirementsInform supervisor of the need to order materials as requiredAssist with jobsite administration duties, such as any daily logs that need to be maintainedPerform daily maintenance and safety checks on all equipment and toolsMaintain inspection records and complete inspection reportsMaintain a clean working area free from dirt and debris between tasks and at end of dayExperience/Requirements:BC valid driver’s license required & a valid motor vehicle record checkSecondary EducationKnowledge of residential and multi-family plumbing and mechanical systems an asset2 yrs experience related to building maintenance idealCommunication skills within work environment among guests and employees.Require basic hand tool knowledgeMust be able to lift 50 lbsQuick Apply
