We want to help you find that perfect fit.About The RoleOur client is seeking to hire a full-time permanent live-out nanny to care for their 8-year-old son.

• Location: Toronto, ON (near Queen St Wamp; Dufferin St)
• Children: 1 child, 8 years old
• Role Type: Full-time permanent position. Live out nanny. The family is looking to hire someone long-term, ideally for multiple years.
• Start Date: As soon as possible
• Schedule: 8 AM to 4 PM, with flexibility required due to the mother #39;s work in the film industry. Overtime may be needed during TV shoots.
• Travel Expectations: The nanny is expected to travel a few weeks per year, possibly for extended periods, and may need to accompany the mother and child on work trips.
• Compensation: Competitive compensation based on nanny’s experience and qualifications. Targeted range is $23 - $30 / hour.

About The FamilyThis family consists of a mother who works in the film industry and an imaginative 8-year-old son who loves reading, especially Harry Potter, and enjoys activities like swimming, hiking, skateboarding, gardening and cooking. The parents are separated and living in different homes, and the child spends time in both parents #39; homes. Both parents are actively involved and take a collaborative approach toward raising their son. They have a dog and may get a second one, who is a close part of their family. They are easy-going, child-centric, and value a fun environment with healthy boundaries. The family is respectful and supportive, viewing the nanny as part of their family.The Perfect CaregiverThe ideal candidate is hands-on, responsible, kind, with a sense of humor and fun, comfortable with dogs, takes initiative, proactive, outgoing, bubbly, flexible, enjoys working in a team environment, and loves cooking.Responsibilities

• Support with breakfast, morning routine, and school drop-off
• Tidying and organizing the house while the child is at school
• Providing light support for the family #39;s dog
• School pick-up and accompanying the child to after-school activities (swimming, art, cooking)
• Sometimes cooking dinner and meal preparation for the family
• Accompanying the child to scheduled activities out of the home

Qualifications

• Experience caring for school-age children (8+ years old)
• Driver #39;s license with a good driving record
• CPRamp; First Aid Certification
• Willing to travel
• Comfortable working around dogs
• Strong references
• COVID-19 vaccination preferred
