HEXO Corp is a serious, business-oriented and socially responsible organization that is building dynamic teams of professionals that arent afraid to step outside of their role, try new things and challenge the status quo.If you are excited to take on a new challenge and are open to getting out of your comfort zone, we’re looking for people like you to join the HEXO Corp family.Harvest - Harvest Team LeadThe Harvest team lead is responsible for assisting the Manager of Harvest ensuring dry product is acceptable and readily available to package.The successful candidate should be able to serve as a role model in the areas of leadership, teamwork, customer focus and have a keen attention to detail as well as be able to work in a fast-pace environment along with previous supervisor/management skills.AAsAssiAssist the Harvest team Lead in all trimming functions.

  • Ensure the safety and productivity of all employees and other resources assigned to the room.
  • Assist in communication and enforcement of compliance for regulatory guidelines and internal SOP’s related to trim.
  • Communication, training and enforcement of policies and updates to employees.
  • Coach team to provide continuous workflow in a professional, team-oriented manner with emphasis on quality goods in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure team is aware of the following work instructions set out by the Harvest Room manager, assist in achieving or exceeding goals within the expected time constraints and quality practices.
  • Aid the Harvest Room Manger in ensuring sanitation and room/equipment maintenance schedules are followed and documented.
  • Assist Harvest Room Manager in measuring, monitoring, and capturing of individuals metrics.
  • Perform daily start-up and end of day duties in a timely and accurate manner.
  • To serve as a role model in the areas of leadership, teamwork, customer focus, continuous improvement, safety and environmental stewardship.
  • Provide assistance in identifying, evaluating and resolving human relations and work performance problems within department.
  • Motivate and coach employees to maintain a safe working environment through diligence in accident prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and rule enforcement.
  • Work in compliance of Occupational Health and safety Act.
  • Communicating with supervisors and management
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds, as required
  • Crouching, bending, kneeling, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods of time are part of the job requirements
  • Travel may be required between locations
  • Work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA)
  • Follow the Cannabis Act, Cannabis Regulations, and any new revisions
  • Comply with Quality Assurance SOPs, policies, and guidelines
  • Other duties as required as assigned by ALL Departments
